because the republican party cannot give a decent opposition and people are too stupid to look into third party candidates because they don’t like to do research that takes longer than five minutes. For the record Obama has cracked down on medical marijuana dispensaries more than Bush did, he’s used predator drones to bomb multiple middle eastern countries killing innocent people, and his healthcare plan is absolute bogus.
He’s not god, he maybe the best mainstream candidate, but let’s not get so far ahead of ourselves.
He’s a catholic, a conservative republican, and a good man. Yes, you can be all three, he really is. He explained to me his belief on homosexuality, he explained that he doesn’t believe the act of being attracted to the same gender is wrong but that the church views the act of gay sex as a sin. I disagree, but will not disrespect his right to religion and opinion. He explained as far as he’s concerned gay people could be allowed to marry legally, receive all the same treatment and benefits as straight couples, and viewed as a family in society. He doesn’t believe they should be allowed to marry in his church, I simply told him I don’t feel I have the right to an opinion on the matter because I am not part of the catholic church nor am i a homosexual, and the conversation kind of started ending there. I really wish he wasn’t catholic, but that’s his beliefs and i can’t change that.
